As our team continues to grow and evolve, we take a moment to acknowledge both heartfelt farewells and exciting new beginnings within our nursing whānau. A very special goodbye goes to Jess Sloan, who has been a valued and dedicated member of the TMC team for the past six years. Working across both District Nursing and Practice Nursing roles, Jess has shown incredible versatility, commitment, and compassion in caring for our community. She has contributed so much to our service, our patients, and our team culture—her kindness, professionalism, and steady presence will be deeply missed. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has given to TMC. As she and her whānau begin a new chapter in Lumsden, we wish them all the very best and every happiness for the future. We also say farewell to Elza O’Brien, who has been with us for the past two years. Elza has grown in her role as a Rural Practice Nurse, transitioning from a private hospital setting and developing strong adaptability, autonomy, and a deep connection to community-based care. Elza has recently married congratulations to Elza and Nathan on this exciting milestone! We wish them both a wonderful future together. At the same time, we are thrilled to welcome some fantastic new nurses to our team: Fiona Chamberlain, Nicky Taylor, and Bridie Brosnahan. We are so excited to have them join us and look forward to the skills, energy, and care they will bring to our community. And finally, keep an eye out for our team in our stunning new uniforms—we’re proud to represent TMC with a fresh new look! Ngā mihi nui to all—past, present, and future members of our incredible nursing team. Paula Trembath
