Our Fees
The fees charged at Twizel Medical Centre are dependent on a patient’s enrolment status (enrolled, casual or visitor), whether the visit takes place during ordinary operating hours or after hours. Some patients received subsidised care, e.g those Under 14, those over 65 and holders of Community Services Cards (CSC). There are different charges for GP/NP and Nurse consults.
Other charges may be applied for tests and consumable materials used in your treatment.
Commonly charged fees for our enrolled patients are outlined below. Casual Patients and Visitors are charged different rates.
Ordinary Hours Fees
8:30am to 5pm
Under 14 years – Free
14 – 17 years – $38.50
18 – 64 years – $52.00
Over 65 years – $40.00
Repeat Prescriptions – $20.00
Blood Tests – $15.00
After Hours Fees
5pm to 8:30am, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays
Under 14 years – Free
14 – 17 years – $90.00
18 – 64 years – $90.00
Over 65 years – $85.00
