Twizel Medical Centre is the health hub of the Mackenzie and provides a wide range of medical services to our community.

Our clinical team includes GPs, Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurses, and District Nurses.

These highly skilled professionals are supported by a range of specialist services that visit regularly or on demand, such as Physiotherapy, Hearing and Skin Specialists.

Specialist Services also visit from tertiary health care centres as outreach visits, e.g., Cardiovascular Clinic, Diabetes Outreach, Geriatricians and Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

About our consults:

• All consultations are carried out in a private consultation rooms.
• You can bring a support person with you for your consult if you wish.
• We can also provide a chaperone to help make you feel more comfortable during certain procedures.
• At certain times throughout the year, we may have student doctors or nurses working with us on placement. You can choose whether they are present or not.
