Admin Super Stars – One Full Time or Two Part-Time Positions
We are currently seeking friendly front-line services stars to join our busy Administration team – either one full time or two part-time positions.
Applicants will be experienced administrators with an eye for detail, excellent communication skills and a desire to go the extra mile to ensure high levels of customer care and satisfaction.
In addition to being team players, candidates will be self-starters who can prioritise workflows and trouble shoot under pressure. Daily tasks will include greeting patients, screening patients for triage as required, managing patient appointments, and liaising with clinical staff. Additional duties may include processing of payments and invoicing, and accounts reconciliation as well as general office duties, depending on background and experience.

Part-time Practice Nurse
Twizel Medical Centre is a well-established and growing rural General Practice in the beautiful Mackenzie Basin. Our practice is committed to ensuring that all patients have equitable access to our health services.
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse with interest in the following roles:
• Part-time Practice Nursing.
The successful candidate must have a current practicing certificate, be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and will ideally have current cervical screening and immunisation certificates.
Experience in a remote rural general practice is preferred and District Nursing / PRIME training would be advantageous but not essential.
In addition to being a team player, you will be a self-starter who can prioritise workflows and work under pressure.

Administration Manager – Part Time/Fixed Term
High Country Health Ltd is the Company operating the Twizel Medical Centre – a remote, rural, Community-owned practice, delivering Primary Healthcare and Emergency/After-hours and District Nursing services. The busy practice caters for an enrolled population and visitors to the region, with a dynamic and dedicated team of health professionals.
About the Role
The Administration Manager will have oversight of the administration duties, facilities and day-to-day business of the clinic, reporting to the Board of Directors. Working closely with staff, contractors and allied Health Professionals, the Administration Manager and their team support the clinical leadership team. Provision of efficient and effective operational management through Administration Management ensures High Country Health Ltd meets its objective of successfully providing for the health needs of the local population.
Direct responsibilities include:
- staff management,
- employment documentation,
- administration of service contracts,
- facilities management.
About You
The Administration Manager is an integral role in the practice requiring an experienced manager, skilled in documentation preparation, people management, IT systems, and preferably (although not essential) with experience in the health sector.
