For several years, Twizel Medical Centre has been operating a fortnightly outreach clinic at Lake Tekapo.  This was made possible through the generous support of Tekapo Fire Station who provided us with a space to operate at no charge.

As visitor numbers to the region have recovered from the impacts of Covid and as the population of Tekapo and the surrounding area grows, we have been seeing an increasing number of patients at our clinics. This has meant that we need a little more room.

The Godley Hotel has kindly offered to donate us the use of two downstairs office spaces from which to operate. This new location will mean a more comfortable experience for our staff and patients and no chance of a very loud fire siren going off mid-consultation.

We would like to sincerely thank the Tekapo Fire Station for their long-standing support, which has enabled us to help meet the health needs of Tekapo residents without them having to travel through to Twizel.

The outreach clinic will begin operating from The Godley Hotel fortnightly from 07 January 2025.  The clinic will provide both nurse and GP appointments.
