Most test results are available within 48 hours (two days). At Twizel Medical Centre, “no news is good news,” but the doctor or nurse practitioner will often ask the nurse to contact you with results, depending on your health situation. If we do contact you we will do it by:

• Email / Letter

If you wish only to be notified if there are abnormal results, please inform your doctor or nurse of this.

If you expect to learn about results but haven’t heard please call us on 03 435 0777 and ask to speak with a nurse.

Please Note

Biopsy and cervical cytology test results may take one to two weeks to come back.
