Clinical Services

The Twizel Medical Centre offers a wide range of clinical services including prescriptions and other medical care to look after the health of our community.

Mental Health and Wellbeing

Your mental health is one of the most important aspects of personal wellness. We support our community with mental health and wellbeing services for patients of all ages.

Women's Health

We strongly encourage women to have regular health checks. Our women’s health services cover a wide range of women’s unique health needs, including reproductive health, family planning and cancer screenings.

Men's Health

We strongly encourage men to have a two-yearly men’s health check from age 40. We offer screening for early diagnosis of heart disease, skin, bowel and prostate cancer, as well as advice and services for other common men’s health issues.

Youth Health

Our youth health services include topics such as mental health and sexual health, with a specific focus on the unique needs and issues of the youth of our community.

Family Health

Our team is experienced with children and their particular health needs. We offer family health services including immunisations and treatment for common children’s health issues such as asthma.

Travel Health

Before setting off on your overseas trip it is important to get accurate advice on how to remain healthy while you are away. We’re able to provide expert advise as well as travel vaccinations and other travel health services.

Occupational Health

We support the businesses and workers in our community by providing occupational health services including regular checkups and health monitoring.
